This is a list of combat rating equivalents based on the combat rating system introduced at the beginning of Burning Crusade. The values provided below are applicable to level 70 hunters only. I will update the information for Wrath of the Lich King, once the information have been confirmed.
1 Strength = 1 Melee Attack Power
1 Stamina = 10 Health
1 Agility = 1 Attack Power
1 Agility = 0.552 Critical Strike Rating
1 Agility = 2 Armor
40 Agility = 1% Critical Hit
25 Agility = 1% Dodge Chance
1 Intellect = 15 Mana
55 Intellect = 1% Spell Critical Hit
22.08 Critical Strike Rating = 1% Critical Hit
15.77 Hit Rating = 1% Hit*
14 Ranged Attack Power = 1 Damage per Second
3.94 Weapon Skill Rating = 1 Weapon Skill
10.51 Haste Rating = 1% Haste
31.54 Parry Rating = 1% Parry
*Hunters with 0% Hit will miss 9% of their shots against level 73 raid bosses. Given the formula above, to make up for that 9%, hunters must have a Hit Rating of 142 in order to not miss any shots.
It should also be noted that any percentage value given is only a chance for that event to occur. For example, in shooting 100 Auto Shots with 0 Hit Rating, it does not guarantee that you will miss 9 of those shots. You may miss only 5, or you may miss more. Instead, the percentage is a concept of mathematical limit. As the number of shots you make increases towards infinity, the number of shots missed as a percentage will approach 9%.
The same goes with Critical Hit. The percentage value indicates the chance of striking an enemy critically in the limit that you make an infinite number of shots. Anything below that value, you may crit less often or more often.
